Chojnacka, Marta (Art Prints)
From her studio based in Barcelona, Marta Chojnacka combines her passion for plants with intense bright colours. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Warmia & Mazury in Poland. When she finished her studies she moved to London, the city where she made her first exhibitions.
Her inspiration are the seaside, foliage and everyday objects that she transforms into beautiful gouache and watercolour artworks. Her favorite artists are David Hockney and Mattise, because of bold colours and accurate interpretation of reality.
She is focused on capturing the essence with quick brush strokes, that links perfectly with the delicacy of technique. Working on paper allows her to keep the work fresh and vibrant. She says "I want to show the nice side of life - it's always there but it's also easy to forget".
Currently, she combines her personal work with the art direction of Materia Rica, a creative jewelry brand that she created together with Joan Ayguadé Jarque in London.
