Iconic Pre 1900 impressionist painter Pierre Auguste Renoir's ‘La Plage a Pornic La Voile Blanche’ is a landscape painting produced whilst Renoir was visiting Pornic, a commune in the Loire-Atlantique area of western France. Renoir created a colourful depiction of the beach and through the trees, he included a turreted building known as the castle of Pornic.
