Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier was a Swiss-French architect, designer and painter and was one of the pioneers of modern architecture. This architectural drawing features a digitalised image of ‘Unite d'Habitation Marseille’ a modernist residential housing development designed by Le Corbusier in collaboration with painter-architect Nadir Afonso. The initial developments were built in Paris and Marseille in France during the 1940s before being built in cities across the world including Tokyo and New York.
