Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier was a Swiss-French architect, designer, and painter and was one of the pioneers of modern architecture. This architectural drawing features a digitalised image of the façade of the ‘Villa Savoye', a modernist villa in Poissy on the outskirts of Paris, designed by Le Corbusier and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret between 1928-1931. The villa is an example of Le Corbusier’s ‘precision’ architecture, where each feature of the design needed to be justified in design and urban terms compared to his later work which was more free-form. A modern art print of urban planning.
